Transit Academy’s Inaugural Trainee Cohort

Congratulations to the Transit Systems NSW team, who kicked off their first cohort of trainees at the Transit Academy! Seven eager individuals embarked on their journey with us this week as they gear up to deliver Rail Replacement services later this year.

As we prepare to support this significant rail upgrade project, we've ramped up our recruitment efforts, including wrapping two buses, new depot banners, and bus hangers to spread the word.

Our commitment to safety and teamwork shines through as we prepare for the influx of recruits, even flying in extra support from our Swan Transit team to ensure everyone receives top-notch training.

To our dedicated trainers, who will be guiding our trainees through six weeks of intensive in-person and on-the-road training, we salute you! Your expertise and encouragement will pave the way for our team's success.

As our first batch of trainees moves into more in-depth training, we eagerly await another 13 individuals who will commence their Transit Academy journey tomorrow.
