Experienced Driver Burwood and Tempe
Sign-on Bonus

$6,000 in total

  • $3,000 after completion of 6 months

  • $3,000 after completion of 12 months

Terms and Conditions

  • Applicable to drivers who are successfully hired to Burwood and Tempe Depot only.

  • Must have at least 6 months experience driving a heavy vehicle.

  • To be eligible, you must meet minimum driving requirements of 110 shifts in the first 6 months and a combined total of 220 shifts over the 12-month period.

  • Sign on bonus is subject to tax and superannuation in accordance with the relevant legislation.

  • Returning employees are not eligible to receive this bonus.

  • Sign on bonus payments will be made in the first applicable pay adjustment after completion of the period.

  • Bonus on commencement will be paid after the employee successfully finishes training (if required) and has completed their first driving shift without a trainer, mentor or buddy.

  • If employment ends for any reason, or at the employee’s request transfers to a depot other than Burwood or Tempe prior to the 6 or 12-month period, no payment is due (i.e. there is no pro-rata/partial amount for less than 6 or 12-months).

  • Amounts stated are paid to full time employees. Part time employees receive a pro-rata based on their hours of work.

  • If an employee changes status between full time and part time in a 6 month period, a pro-rata calculation will be done based on hours worked in that period.

  • Sign on bonus payments are not applicable to casual employees.

  • Those on extended leave will be considered on a case by case basis with final approval to be determined by the Managing Director.

  • These Terms and Conditions may be varied as determined by the Managing Director.
